This website is operated by Checkit Infotech Private Limited ("Checkit Infotech", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India on 20 June 2018 under CIN U72900MH2018PTC310973, with its registered office at Mira Bhayander, Thane, Maharashtra 401107, India.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, we act as a data fiduciary in respect of information collected through this website, and as a data processor in respect of information we handle on behalf of clients under a services agreement.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry details — name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message when you submit a contact, quote or demo request form.
- Recruitment information — name, contact details, experience, portfolio or profile links and any information contained in a CV you send us.
- Subscription details — the email address you provide to receive our newsletter.
- Support information — details you provide when raising a support ticket, including screenshots and error messages.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type and version, operating system and device type.
- Pages visited, time spent, referring URL and the links you click.
- Cookie identifiers, as described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, financial account or government identity information) through this website. Please do not submit such information in a form field.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and provide quotations.
- To deliver, support and maintain the services you have engaged us for.
- To evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates.
- To send our newsletter, where you have subscribed. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and misuse.
- To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We process personal information where: you have given consent (for example, by ticking a consent box or subscribing); processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering a contract; processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; or processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

7. Client project data
Where we process personal data contained in a client's systems in the course of development, migration or support work, we do so strictly as a processor under the instructions of that client. Such processing is governed by the relevant services agreement and, where applicable, a separate data processing addendum. Access is limited to assigned project personnel, is logged, and is revoked on project completion.
We do not use client data for our own purposes, and we do not use it to train any model or product of ours.
8. Data retention
- Enquiries and quotations — retained for up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
- Recruitment data — retained for up to 12 months from the application date, unless you ask us to keep it longer for future openings.
- Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe.
- Client and contractual records — retained for the period required by Indian tax, accounting and company law, typically eight years.
- Website analytics — retained in aggregated form for up to 26 months.
9. Security measures
We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit, access control on a least-privilege basis, logging of administrative access, regular patching, dependency vulnerability scanning, staff confidentiality obligations and background-appropriate access reviews.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority as required by applicable law and without undue delay.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request erasure of your information where we no longer have a lawful basis to keep it.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing.
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

11. International transfers
Our infrastructure is primarily located in India. Where a service provider or a client-directed deployment involves storing or processing data outside India, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through contractual protections and, where required, obtain the necessary consents.
12. Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always show when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
